Job Description:

  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments, and other tax compliance, including but not limited to tracking all compliance and filing status.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare and assist in the creation of documents to support internal/external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Review accounts, activity, and prepare reconciliations of income tax balances (i.e. income tax payable and deferred tax assets and liabilities) and Tax Receivable Agreement (“TRA”) general ledger accounts, including foreign withholding and franchise/gross receipts taxes.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns for the company and certain subsidiaries.
  • Ensure timely tax filings and payment remittances
  • Provide assistance on matters relating to tax audits and other compliance initiatives, including communications and responses with tax authorities and others where required

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of any business related course
  • A well-organized and adaptable individual with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and processes while meeting internal and external deadlines.
  • Assertive, self-motivated, team-oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of tax preparation software

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
