The Vodafone Mobile Private Network (MPN) portfolio is a business area that aims to meet the operation technology (OT) and IT (Information Technology) digitisation needs of enterprise customers supporting their Industry 4.0 and SCM 4.0 targets.

In order to fulfil this objective Vodafone Business is looking for a Solution Architect - Digital.
As a Solution Architect (Digital) you will own the full stack lifecycle of the platform(s) under your scope. Specifically, you will be accountable for the architecture, roadmap and technical design of Customer Self Service Capability used to have visibility and configuration over the Mobile Private Network, Customer Reporting and Analytics, API Exposure layer as well as responsible to coordinate both the platform evolution driven by product roadmap, security, lifecycle, risk, technical debt, migration and markets roll out.
Here is what we will be looking for you to bring:
- 5 years of experience working in solution and architecture or design for complex online solutions
- Knowledge of modelling languages and tools, experience in clear and abstract capture of logical and technical architecture, data architecture, dynamic design
- Familiar with TMF API and SID standards
- Experience designing or designing for virtualised or cloud-oriented architectures
- Deep understanding of portal technologies (e.g. REACT, Angular, SSO) and portal design patterns
- Experience working with a broad range of architectural patterns (e.g. SOA and microservices, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON) and especially with Apigee as a gateway vendor
- API Integration including B2B integration
Desirable:
- Experience in big data (GCP and AWS solutions) and AI/ML
- Be responsible for engaging with technical, business and operations stakeholders to understand their needs, prioritise the delivery approach, and guide engineering leads in solution delivery as a design authority
- Ability to evaluate cost of ownership for the Platform Solution and support business cases for implementation following roadmap and customer prioritisation criteria.
- Own the architecture and design for Management Plane, Reporting, API exposure, API integration layers as an integral part of Vodafone MPN Platform.
