About Your Role
Thales is seeking applications for permanent/ Full-Time Production Employees to join the Benalla Munitions Manufacturing facility in an ongoing role.
You will be required to safely and efficiently perform direct production tasks to meet the production plan. This will require you to monitor processes performed, maintaining personal safety and quality of output.
You must be able to work rotating shifts, as required (day, afternoon and night) and able to stand for long periods of time. Tasks are routine and repetitive requiring attention to detail and the ability to read and follow work instructions.
Operation of a range of machinery, equipment and basic hand tools
In process inspection of production work involving the use of gauges and visual standards
Maintaining quality control and inventory records where required
Workplace housekeeping and cleaning

Proven ability to follow policies and procedures
Attention to detail with a proven focus on quality outcomes
Strong commitment to health, safety and environment
Ability to work well within a team
Those with a mechanical aptitude will be viewed favourably, as will those with previous experience in machine operation or process related work
